Pirate Bay co-founder Peter Sunde reportedly arrested in Sweden

The Pirate Bay co-founder Peter Sunde — also known as Brokep — has reportedly been arrested in Sweden by police forces after a raid on a farm in the country’s southern region. Nationwide Swedish tabloid Expressen first reported police had captured the 35-year-old. He’s been wanted by Interpol since 2012 when he was handed down an eight-month prison sentence by a Swedish criminal court for his involvement with The Pirate Bay.

According to the report, a representative for the Swedish police confirmed that Sunde was in custody. Sunde has yet to serve a day in prison — it’s suspected that he’s been on the move and living in Berlin since being sentenced. Studio plans to remake ‘90s Stallone action flick ‚Cliffhanger‘

It seems cheesy ‘80s and ‘90s action movies aren’t doomed to late night TV anymore. Cliffhanger, a 1993 action flick starring Sylvester Stallone as a mountain climbing rescuer, is in discussions to be „reimagined“ according to Deadline. The report says that production company StudioCanal has a screenwriter on board to bring the movie back to life, though few details are available.

Cliffhanger is certainly a surprising film for a remake, though it did do well back in the early ‘90s. The story centers on Stallone, who gets tied up in a heist of a US Treasury plane carrying millions.
